How the transfer works
Four steps. We do the parts that are annoying.

Unlock the domain
Log in to your current registrar and turn off the registrar/transfer lock. Also disable WHOIS privacy temporarily so approval emails can reach you.

Get the EPP code
Request the authorisation code (also called EPP or auth code). It is emailed to the registrant address on file.

Start the transfer here
Enter your domain and EPP code above, then pay. We submit the request to the registry immediately.

Approve the email
The registry emails the registrant a confirmation link. Click it and the transfer usually finishes within a few hours instead of five days.

BTCL requires proof of a Bangladeshi identity or business: a copy of your trade licence (for companies) or NID (for individuals), plus a letterhead application. Upload these during checkout and we handle the BTCL submission for you. .bd domains are registered for a minimum of two years.
