Refund Policy

Last updated 1 January 2026

The short version

If our hosting does not work for you, tell us within 30 days and we refund you in full. Domains cannot be refunded because we pay the registry the moment you order.

What is refundable

| Service | Guarantee | Notes | | --- | --- | --- | | Shared hosting | 30 days | Full refund, no questions | | WordPress hosting | 30 days | Full refund, no questions | | Business hosting | 30 days | Full refund, no questions | | Reseller hosting | 30 days | Full refund, no questions | | VPS | 7 days | Shorter because resources are dedicated on order | | Business email | 30 days | Pro-rated after 30 days is not available |

What is not refundable

  • Domain registrations, renewals, transfers and restorations. We pay the registry immediately and cannot recover that money. This is standard across the industry and we would rather say it clearly than bury it.
  • SSL certificates once issued.
  • Licences (cPanel, WHMCS, Softaculous) once activated.
  • Website design work already performed. If we have not started, you get a full refund; if we have, we refund the unstarted portion.
  • Setup fees, where charged.
  • Services terminated by us for breach of the acceptable use policy.

How to request a refund

Open a ticket from your dashboard, or email support@domhos.com from the address on the account. Tell us which service and, if you feel like it, what went wrong — we genuinely use that to fix things.

How long it takes

  • We approve or query the request within 1 working day.
  • bKash / Nagad / Rocket: 3–7 working days.
  • Card / SSLCommerz: 7–14 working days, depending on your bank.
  • Bank transfer: 3–5 working days.
  • Account credit: instant, if you would rather keep it with us.

Chargebacks

Please talk to us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback costs us a fee and freezes your account automatically while the bank investigates — which usually takes far longer than simply asking us for the refund.
