Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or buying a service from domhos IT Ltd., you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

2. The service

We provide domain registration, shared and reseller hosting, VPS, business email and related services. We are a reseller: domains are registered through an ICANN-accredited registrar, and some infrastructure is supplied by third parties. This does not change our obligations to you.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything done under your account. Enable two-factor authentication. Tell us immediately at support@domhos.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must give accurate registration details. Registries can suspend a domain for false WHOIS data, and we cannot prevent that.

4. Payment

  • Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include VAT where applicable.
  • Services are prepaid. Invoices are issued before the due date.
  • Renewal prices are not promotional prices. The renewal price is shown next to the promotional price at the point of sale and in your dashboard.
  • If an invoice is unpaid, we suspend the service after 3 days, and may terminate it after 15 days. Terminated hosting data is deleted and cannot be recovered.

5. Domain registrations

  • Domains are registered in your name; you are the registrant and you own the domain.
  • Registration is subject to registry rules and is non-refundable once submitted, because we pay the registry immediately.
  • .bd domains require BTCL approval and valid supporting documents. If BTCL rejects the application we refund the registration fee minus any processing already incurred.
  • We enable registrar lock and auto-renew by default. You can turn both off.
  • You may transfer your domain away at any time; the EPP code is available in your dashboard without needing to ask us.

6. Refunds

  • Shared, WordPress, business and reseller hosting: 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.
  • VPS: 7-day money-back guarantee.
  • Non-refundable: domain registrations and renewals, SSL certificates, licences, setup fees, and website design work already performed.
  • Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7 working days. Wallet refunds may take longer depending on the provider.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use our services to host or transmit: malware, phishing pages, spam or bulk unsolicited email, child sexual abuse material, content infringing copyright, cryptocurrency mining, or anything illegal under Bangladeshi law.

Shared hosting is a shared resource. Sustained CPU or I/O use that degrades other customers on the same node may result in a request to upgrade, throttling, or suspension. We will contact you before suspending unless the issue is causing an active outage.

8. Uptime and SLA

We target 99.9% network uptime per calendar month, excluding announced maintenance. If we fall below it, you may claim a service credit — see the SLA page. Credits are the sole remedy for downtime.

9. Backups

We take daily off-server backups and keep them for 30 days as a courtesy. You remain responsible for your own backups. We will restore from ours where possible, but we do not guarantee backup availability or completeness, and we accept no liability for data loss.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a service for non-payment, breach of the acceptable use policy, fraud, or a legal requirement. Where the situation allows, we give notice and a chance to fix it. Fraud and active abuse are suspended immediately.

You may cancel any service at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term unless you request immediate termination.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect losses.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes are emailed to you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction.
