Accessing cPanel for the first time

Where to find your login

Your welcome email contains three things: the cPanel URL, your username, and a temporary password. It is also always available in Dashboard → My Hosting → Manage.

Logging in

1. Open https://yourdomain.com:2083 (or the direct server URL from the email if DNS has not propagated yet).
2. Enter your username and password.
3. Change the password immediately under Preferences → Password & Security.

First three things to do

1. Install an SSL certificate — it is free and automatic under Security → SSL/TLS Status.
2. Create an email account under Email → Email Accounts.
3. Enable two-factor authentication on your cPanel account.
